This guarani word means "THE ONE THAT EATS EVERYTHING"
Located 270 km from Iguazu falls, is a natural monument
for the country It's surrounded by indigenous rainforest
with unbelievable trees and ferns. It's protected by a
Biosphere Reserve of 230.000 ha, so that to get there
we need 4 by 4 vehicles.
We'll drive through the hills covered with rainforest,
red-earth trails, we'll see a typical Polish vehicle.
We'll walk to the bank of the Uruguay River where we'll
take a boat upstream to sea the falls, there we can stop
and do some trekking in the falls (you can get wet if
you want). This falls have more than 3000 m. long, this
deep canyon is the border between Brasil and Argentina.
This tour can be taken with a nigth at El Soberbio or
as a day tour. A suggest is to arrive at Posadas airport,
spend a nigth at El Soberbio, the next whole day in Mocona
and continue to Iguazu falls. |

Corrientes is a province in the south of Misiones, the
geography of this region is completely different. We'll
leave the hills of Misiones and the plains of Corrientes
will come. This environment full of marshlands and small
lagoons makes a paradise for birds and all sort of animals.
Arriving at San Juan de Poriahu cottage, in the middle
of this Esteros del Ibera (Ibera means bright water in
guarani). There are different cottages to chose. In those
cottages there are lots of activities to do, horse riding,
canooing, trekking, etc.Comfortable lodging, typical breakfast
and for lunch or dinner the traditional asado (barbacue).
In this area is easy to see the typical fauna like the
capivara, the largest rodent of the world), alligators,
